- What is the purpose of DigiConnect Training Program?
In the scope of university - industry cooperation, every year we have been providing internship opportunities to university students. In line with changing conditions during Covid-19 pandemic, we have transferred our internship program to digital platform. Under the name of DigiConnect, we aim to provide an opportunity to gain professional skills and offer our participants a personal and career development path. In addition to this, we would like to create a sustainable network with the students and keep in touch with them closely to provide an advantage on the future job opportunities at Norm Holding companies.
- Can you briefly inform us about the content of the program?
This program is based on experiencing business life and gaining required skills and competencies. It is built on three models such as “Project Management”, “Executive (Compass) Meetings”, and “Online Trainings”. Students will create solutions to existing needs of the company with the assigned projects and they will be able to enhance their career with the help of online trainings and meetings for 2 months. Unlike previous internship programs, participants will meet with Senior Executives in the Executive (Compass) Meeting Module and come together digitally with other professionals for visionary talks; learn from their perspectives and experiences within the sector and learn about our company deeply.
- What benefits will the attendants gain at the end of the program?
Attendants will gain knowledge and skills that will be a guide to the business life, get inspiration from experiences of senior executives, shape their career path and have an experience that will make a difference in their resumes. Students will develop competencies such as innovation, creativity and digital project management by working through online platforms and possess qualifications that will take them one step further in the digital world. They will have the opportunity to be evaluated primarily for the positions that will be opened in Norm Holding companies both in Turkey and global locations such as the States, Germany, France and Poland.
- Are there any plans to repeat DigiConnect in the future or initiate similar digital programs?
We aim to continue to the DigiConnect program in the future. We will enrich our content based on the feedbacks of the participants and the information we will gathered from digital evaluation process to the end of training. Such digital programs allow us to meet with young talents not only from Turkey but also from all over the world.
