Salihli Chamber of Commerce and Industry gave "Honorary Award" to Nedim Uysal, Norm Group Founder and Honorary President, at the Economy Awards Ceremony, which is traditionally organized every year. Uysal, who received the prize at the ceremony, stated that he was proud of being from Salihli and thanked Salihli Chamber of Commerce and Industry for granting this award.
The Economy Awards ceremony that Salihli Chamber of Commerce and Industry traditionally organized every year was held at Lidya Sardes Otel. Honor plaque was presented to Founding Honorary Chairman Nedim Uysal on behalf of Norm Civata, the 230th largest company on the Istanbul Chamber of Industry's 500 largest companies.
First in employment, second in exports
Furthermore, Norm Salihli Vida ve Cıvata, one of the Norm Group companies, was awarded the second prize and got the top prize in employment awards.
Norm Group Founder Honorary President Nedim Uysal also stated that he is proud of being from Salihli, saying "I was born and raised in this city. I am deeply attached to Salihli. I will not give up producing and contributing to Salihli". Uysal said that he received this honorary award on behalf of Norm Group, of which he was the founder, further stated that "I am very happy to receive such a valuable prize from the place that I was born and raised. I am very grateful to Salihli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which grants me with this award".
Salihli District Governor Turgut Çelenkoğlu, Garrison Commander Kamil Karameşe, Deputy Mayor Nuri Kaya, Chief Public Prosecutor Hasan Ugurlu, Manisa Tax Office Group Manager Ruhi Petek, Director of Adil Oral Tax Office Talip Kara, Police Chief Sayım Başaran, Gendermarie Commander Mehmet Alşen, presidents of chamber of artisans, representatives of trade associations and businessmen have attended the ceremony, where businessmen had a broad participation.
The ranking was based on the tax assessments for 2015 and top 10 businessmen for corporate tax and income tax, members who made the most exports and created the most employment and members who have been registered to the chamber for 40 years were honoured with a plaque.
